Timeline
I wanted to share my 8 week schedule here so you would have a better understanding of my process.
When I offer you a puppy and you accept you will get an email with “Important Dates”. This will basically be the following info below but it will include exact dates for your puppies litter. This is just a better way for me to be organized and be sure you have all the deadlines in preparing for your puppies arrival. It also makes sure that you have all my info and nothing gets forgotten or misplaced. It will all be in one email and it will be everything you need to know from birth to pick up!
When working with several people in a littler at once this makes the process easier for myself and hopefully you as well as you plan your journey to bring home your new puppy.

Week 1
Please read “What to expect” on my website so you are familiar with my process.
If you will need any delivery please contact me to start working on this.
As soon as you know your travel plans Please make your vet appointments!!!!
I ask that you do this within 72 hours of pick up. This is to protect both you and me! This is just so we both agree you received the puppy in good health and there are no issues.
I have no control of the puppy’s exposure once it leaves me so this needs to be done so we all agree the puppy is healthy when you receive it.
Week 3
If you need delivery you need to have this scheduled with me, week 3 is the deadline.
Planning early gets you better airline ticket prices and also ensures we are available on the dates that work best for you!
This includes car, airline and delivery to the airport scheduling.
If you deposit on a puppy after week 3 please discuss delivery with me right away. We will always try to work it in but it will depend on what is already scheduled. The sooner this is booked the better airline price you will get and better options for days/times. Scheduling delivery on a 1st come 1st serve basis. Many times we are fully booked at 3 weeks and can only offer 3rd party delivery.
If booking any delivery you will need to have puppy balance and all delivery fees paid in full before we will schedule delivery. This will also include ample time to clear all checks.
Airport drop off is $200 as of Jan 2026.
To your home delivery is based by mileage. Contact for quote.
Travel Health Certificates are $200, if you need this please schedule it with me. I do need a separate vet appointment for this so it also needs to be scheduled in advance. Health certificates are only good for 10 days so they need to be done right before travel.
Car delivery dates are picked by us and planned by the amount of deliveries and location of deliveries. If there are a lot of deliveries we often have to do this over 2-3 weekends. Airline deliveries always go 1st due to size, if puppies get too big they will not fit in crate. It may be 1-2 weeks after pick up week for delivery so please understand we plan them all as best as we can but if we have a lot of places to go I may have your puppy here for 1-2 extra weeks. I do not charge for boarding in those cases, it is included in the delivery fee.
Please note once you book this with us there are no refunds if you later change your mind. We book rental car and motels once our route is planned so refunds are not given if you later decide you want to drive here instead.
IF YOU ARE BOOKING A FLIGHT AND HAVING ME MEET YOU AT THE AIRPORT PLEASE CONFIRM MY AVAILABILITY BEFORE BOOKING FLIGHT!!!!!!
Week 4
All payments, other than cash at pick, up are due in full.
This means if you are paying by personal check, money order, cashier’s check your payment needs to be sent to me by this date! I will not accept anything but cash at pick up.
Checks are deposited when received but are not credited for up to 2 weeks to allow time to completely clear payment.
There are no exceptions.
Gooddog clients do have to pay the balance directly through Gooddog.com.
If you are paying balance in cash at pick up I do request $100 bills to make it simple.
If you have any type of delivery it needs to be booked and paid in full by this date.
If mailing payments please allow extra time for it to get here. I will not accept “It’s in the mail” unless you have a tracking number. Also please do not ask for a signature, get a tracking number instead.
My USPS mail service is extremely unreliable and can take weeks. If sending final payments please us Fedex or UPS.
Week 5
Colored collars are put on puppies and picking begins, be watching emails
Please read “Choosing a puppy” on my website, prior to this, so you understand my process.
You will receive an email when the pictures are uploaded and picking begins. I send out emails every time someone picks so you will know what puppies are still available and I will announce your name when it is time for you to pick. It may sound confusing but when you receive my 1st email I think it will be pretty easy to follow along.
Week 6
All puppies get full exam, vaccines and microchips from my veterinarian.
Your travel plans need to be confirmed with me so I can be ready and available whenever you plan to come and get your puppy.
I will need the date and an expected time for the day you want to come and pick up your puppy to bring it home with you.
Below on “Week 8” are the pick-up week dates and you may plan your trip to come here anytime during those dates. You do need to confirm my availability as I schedule on 1st come 1st serve basis.
Due to my own insane schedule this is mandatory!
If you cannot make a travel plan by week 6 you will need to pass on this litter. As you might be able to tell, I am a planner and I have a lot to juggle from week to week so scheduling is so appreciated.
I no longer accept last minute plans.
Week 8 Pick up week!!!!!

This is the week you will come to TN and pick up your puppy!
If I am meeting you at the airport for delivery it will need to be during the week listed.
Both car and airline deliveries may be at a different time, this week only applies to airport drop off and pick up in person at my home.
If any of the deadlines are not met I simply move you off this litter and put you back on the list with the date you were removed not your original deposit date. Updated contracts and deposit will be required. I no longer send out reminder emails so please mark your calendars.
