I wanted to share my 8‑week schedule so you have a clear understanding of my process from the moment you accept a puppy until the day you bring your new ERBEKEES Keeshond home.
When you accept a puppy, you will receive an email titled “Important Dates.”
This email includes all deadlines and timelines specific to your litter—everything from birth to pickup—so nothing gets lost or overlooked. It keeps the process organized for both of us, especially when I’m working with several families at once.

Week 1
Please read the “What to Expect” section on my website so you are familiar with my process.
✔ Delivery Needs
If you will need delivery, contact me immediately so we can begin planning.
✔ Schedule Your Vet Appointment
As soon as you know your travel plans, schedule your vet appointment for within 72 hours of pickup.
This protects both you and me by confirming the puppy is healthy at the time you receive them.
Once the puppy leaves my home, I cannot control their exposure—so this early exam is essential.
Week 3
✔ Delivery Must Be Scheduled by Week 3
If you need delivery (car, airline, or airport drop‑off), it must be scheduled by this week.
Booking early:
• Secures better airline prices
• Ensures availability on your preferred dates
• Helps me plan my schedule efficiently
If you deposit after week 3, contact me immediately to discuss delivery options. I will try to accommodate you, but availability depends on what is already booked.
✔ Delivery Payment Requirements
Before delivery can be scheduled:
• Puppy balance must be paid in full
• All delivery fees must be paid
• Checks must have time to fully clear
✔ Delivery Fees (as of Jan 2026)
• Airport drop‑off: $200
• Home delivery: priced by mileage (contact for quote)
• Travel Health Certificate: $200 (must be scheduled in advance; valid for 10 days)
✔ Delivery Timing
Car delivery routes are planned based on:
• Number of deliveries
• Locations
• Airline deliveries (which take priority due to crate size limits)
If there are many deliveries, it may take 1–2 weeks after pickup week to reach everyone.
There is no boarding fee for this extra time—it is included in the delivery cost.

Once delivery is booked, there are no refunds if you later change your mind.
We book rental cars and hotels in advance.

CONFIRM MY AVAILABILITY BEFORE BOOKING YOUR FLIGHT.
Week 4
✔ Final Payments Due
All payments—other than cash at pickup—are due in full by week 4.
Accepted for final payment:
• Personal check
• Money order
• Cashier’s check
These must be mailed early enough to arrive by week 4.
Checks are deposited immediately but not credited for up to 2 weeks to fully clear.
No exceptions.
GoodDog clients must pay their balance through GoodDog.com.
If paying cash at pickup, please bring $100 bills.
✔ Delivery Must Be Fully Paid
If you are using any delivery service, it must be:
• Booked
• Paid in full
• Confirmed
by week 4.
✔ Mailing Payments
Do NOT rely on USPS.
Use FedEx or UPS and include a tracking number.
Do not request a signature.
Week 5
✔ Collars & Puppy Picking Begins
Puppies receive colored collars and individual photos begin.
Please read “Choosing a Puppy” on my website beforehand so you understand the process.
You will receive an email when photos are uploaded and picking begins.
I send updates each time someone chooses, so you always know which puppies remain available.
You will be notified when it is your turn to pick.
Week 6
✔ Veterinary Exams
All puppies receive:
• Full physical exam
• Vaccinations
• Microchips
✔ Confirm Travel Plans
By week 6, I must have:
• Your pickup date
• Your expected arrival time
Pickup week dates are listed under Week 8.
Scheduling is first come, first served, and due to my busy schedule, this is mandatory.
If you cannot finalize travel plans by week 6, you will need to pass on this litter.
I no longer accept last‑minute arrangements.
Week 8 Pick up week!!!!!

This is the week you will come to Tennessee to pick up your puppy.
If I am meeting you at the airport, it must be during the dates listed for pickup week.
Car and airline deliveries may occur outside these dates—pickup week applies only to:
• Airport meet‑ups
• In‑person pickup at my home
